Loveland is located 45 miles north of Denver, situated on Highway 34 leading to the Rocky Mountain National Park and known as “The Gateway to the Rockies”. Loveland is known to have one of the most highly educated work forces in the country, and it enjoys one of the lowest crime rates in Colorado. ~ Loveland has adopted an ordinance directing that 1% of all of the city’s capital construction projects over $50,000 be used to place art in public places – Loveland’s parks and civic buildings have art, mostly bronzes, reputed to be valued at over 3 million dollars.
